A Day with: THE LONDON SS

RiccardoBehind the ScenesLeave a Comment

The London SS is the band that never was but were as important as the Sex Pistols in the birth of what would come to be known as punk rock. They never had a stable line up, never played a gig and never released a record and were in essence Mick Jones (The Clash), Tony James (Generation X) and Eunan Brady (Hollywood Brats).

Early in 2012 after going for a pint with Mick Jones in a Portobello road pub, Brady decided to resurrect the name and form a new lineup. New members of the band are: Jimi McDonald, Taj, Michael Kane, Richard Grealish and Eunan Brady.

The London SS has now released the first EP “No Beards. No Beerguts. No Begginers.” (CD/Vinyl: londonss.bigcartel.com) and we are pleased to have contributed to the creation of their artwork. Represented on this page are some of the photographs we shot and art directed.

These pictures were taken in Camden Town and in Edgware near Flash Flooring Carpet Store.
